What is qbord?

qbord is an online community for users who want to participate in focus groups, complete online surveys and share questions and information with their fellow members.

Why should I join?

qbord offers many benefits to its users. For completing online surveys, answering and sharing poll results, rating ads, or referring friends you receive points which can be redeemed for different rewards. On top of points, we also pay users cash ($75 or more) to participate in focus groups all over Canada.

How do I join?

Is it truly free?

Absolutely! qbord will NEVER ask for or charge any kind of payment. Not to mention we NEVER ask for your banking information.

How many accounts can I have?

One. There is no need for more than one account.

How many surveys will I receive?

We strive to send as many surveys as possible to all users but it can vary from person to person depending on which surveys we currently have available, and how much information you provided when you signed up.

How will I receive surveys?

You will receive a notification via email informing you there is a survey available for you to complete. Also, any survey available will automatically show up on your dashboard.

What if I don’t want to be a member anymore?

It is a sad day when a qbord member wishes to leave. To unsubscribe, please login to your account, go to your profile, under Personal Information you will see a button to delete your account.

Please note that by doing so, all your points and any pending rewards you have yet to receive will be forfeited.

How do I sign in?

On the very top of the page to the right you will see the log in button. Enter the email you signed up with and password and then press login. If you haven’t signed up yet, click “Register” on the top navigation menu or click here

Why do I need to sign in?

The reason we ask you to sign in is to verify who you are to ensure you receive the correct surveys, points, and prizes.

How do I change my password?

Once you are signed in, click on “my profile” in the navigation menu. You will see the option to “Change Password” at the bottom of that page.

What if I forgot my password?

First try to login. If it does not work you will see a “forgot password?” link or you can click here. You will be asked to provide the email address you used to sign up. Once you provide your email address we will send you an email to help you get logged back in.

My password and email are correct and I still can’t log in?

Please ensure you are using the correct email and password. If you’re sure you are using the correct details and you are still not logging in it could be for the following reason(s):

  1. qbord is performing maintenance on the site
  2. Incorrect password
  3. Your account has been suspended

What is Rewards Zone?

Rewards Zone is where qbord members go to spend their points. We strive to provide the most on demand items so our qbord members are always eager to spend their points. You can also earn points through Loyalty incentives.

What are Loyalty Incentives?

We want to reward our loyal qbord members so we created this section specifically for you. Loyalty Incentives allow you to refer 20 friends to qbord per year (10 friends every 6 months) and get points at the same time. For every one of your friends that signs-up and completes their first two surveys we will gift you plus your friend 50 bonus points! It’s a WIN-WIN situation. And you deserve it!

How do I get points?

There are several ways to get points:

  1. Complete Surveys - Surveys will vary in point value depending on the audience and length of time needed to complete the survey.
  2. Refer Friends – 50 points
  3. Answer and share poll results – 5 points when you answer a poll and 10 points when you share the results
  4. Rate Ads – 30 points per ad
  5. Share our Random facts. – 10 points

How do I spend points?

100 points equals $1 CAD. You can redeem points for awesome rewards, just go to “Redeem Points” on your dashboard.

How will I know if I have purchased an item?

You will receive a confirmation message to your email with all the order details. If you provided incorrect information, you have 48 hours to notify us. qbord is not responsible for rewards sent to the wrong address if a member has provided incorrect details.

How do I receive the item I just purchased?

You will receive an email with all the details to get your electronic gift card.

When will I receive it?

Rewards redeemed prior to the first day of the month will be sent by the 15th of that same month.

  • A reward redeemed on February 5th will be processed on March 1st and sent by March 15th

I didn’t receive my item?

Please allow up to 3 business days to receive an email with your reward’s details. If you have not received an email after 3 business days, please contact us immediately so we may check the status of the item for you. Please also check your spam folder. qbord is not responsible for rewards sent to the wrong address if a member has provided incorrect details.

What are polls?

Polls are questions created by the qbord community. Click on “Take a POLL” in the Other Ways to Engage section to view current polls

How do I create a poll?

On the polls page, on the right side you will see the option to create a poll. After your poll has been submitted, we will review it. If your polls is approved it will go live.

How do I share poll results?

Complete the question and click “Share Results” using any one of your social media accounts.

Why don’t I ever see my own poll?

There can be hundreds and even thousands of polls in circulation at any given time. It is very possible you may never see your own question.

How can I view my poll results?

Go to the poll page and to the right you will see a button “View my polls” to see your poll results.

Can I edit my poll?

No. Once a poll has been submitted you will not be able to make changes.

Why was my poll not approved?

There are a number of reasons your poll may not be approved. Reasons include, but are not limited to:
  • Question has already been asked recently
  • Question is not clear/does not make sense
  • Deemed not in good taste
  • Offensive in any way
  • Irrelevant
  • Biased
qbord bears the sole discretion whether or not a poll question is approved and has the right to suspend access to any qbord member who attempts to post inappropriate or malicious content on

Do you store my information?

We store all survey responses you provide to us, but to protect your privacy we do not link your sign-up information to your response information.

Where is this information being stored?

All information on or from qbord is stored in our state-of-the-art encrypted servers in Canada to ensure all information is safe and protected at all times.

What security do you use to protect my information?

We use the same security that banks use for online banking. That’s 128 bit SSL security encryption on all pages of qbord.

Will you sell my information?


What if I do not want to share my information with qbord?

It is entirely up to you how much, if any, information you want to share with us. That being said, if you only provide the bare minimum to sign up it is likely you will not receive as many surveys. The more we know about you, the better we can deliver suitable surveys to you.

Is my information ever linked back to me?

No. We assign each member a unique identifier for tracking purposes while users remain completely anonymous. We respect your privacy.

Can I trust qbord?

Absolutely. qbord is a division of PMG Intelligence, a Canadian strategic marketing firm which has been in business since 1993.

Which browsers work best with qbord?

We recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for maximum compatibility. We regularly test our application with these browsers.

While recent versions of Microsoft Edge, Safari, and other browsers should work with our site, these are not tested for compatibility with every qbord update.

Also, keep in mind that any browser extensions, add-ons, or plugins that you install may affect the proper display and functionality of any site you visit, including qbord.
